Somebody has to go and look.
I am a travel creator, not a filmmaker with a portfolio to defend. The job is to go to a country, understand it well enough to be worth listening to, and then say so out loud over the footage.

The travelling started before there was any reason to film it. A one-way ticket, a job that could be done from anywhere, and a slow realisation that the interesting part of a country is never the part that gets photographed.
For a long time the footage went nowhere useful. Beautiful, silent, interchangeable — the same drone shot from ninety different places. What was missing was the thing that made the trip worth taking: somebody actually explaining what the place is like, what it costs, what surprised them, and whether it is worth your two weeks.
So the work became narrated. One country, one story, told in order. It is slower to make and much harder to fake, which is the point. A destination cannot buy a good episode; it can only offer a place that turns out to be worth one.
Alongside it I build software — internal tools, client platforms, the CMS behind this site. That work funds the travel that partnerships do not, and it keeps me from having to say yes to a campaign I do not believe in.

How it works
Four things worth knowing.
- The format
- One country, one narrated episode. Shot, cut and voiced by me. Long enough to say something, short enough that people finish it.
- The kit
- What fits in one bag and clears a carry-on limit. No crew, no truck, nothing that needs a permit to point at a mountain.
- The money
- Software pays for the flights; partnerships extend them. Nothing here is funded by pretending a place is better than it is.
- The rule
- If a place is disappointing, the episode says so. That is the entire reason anyone trusts the ones that are not.
